Upcoming Promising Pearls Fashionetta Gala to benefit local scholarship fund | News

East Texas girls will be represented at an forthcoming gala dedicated to a former Tyler ISD educator.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s Gamma Omicron Omega Chapter will host its Promising Pearls Fashionetta Gala at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the UT Ornelas Exercise Middle, 3402 Outdated Omen Rd. in Tyler.

The theme is “What a Wonderful World”: An Night of Excellence and Grace. This function is devoted to former Golden Member and Educator of Kansas City ISD and Tyler ISD, the late Mary Franklin-Isabell, in recognition of her legacy and perseverance to the group’s yearly scholarship program and group company venture initiatives.

Due to the fact its inception 50 several years in the past, the scholarship software has identified girls and young girls of potent character who are in pursuit of educational excellence and engage in local community services.

All cash collected from the event will be donated to chapter’s once-a-year scholarship fund and gifted to deserving high faculty seniors in the East Texas area.

“Promising Pearls,” ages 4 to 18 from East Texas spot will be presented, together with:

Fashionetta contestants in the Miss Potential classification, ages 4-6:

  • Miss out on Mila Giselle Kemp, the daughter of Meshayla and M.T. Kemp III of Tyler
  • Miss out on Kacey Elizabeth Mims, the daughter of Jamie and Wille C. Mims of Tyler

Fashionetta contestants in the Overlook Petite category, ages 7-10:

  • Pass up McKinley Leanne Mims, the daughter of Jamie and Willie Mims of Tyler
  • Pass up Paris Sade Mims, the daughter of Brittany Mims and Mr. Cedric Whitaker of Tyler

Fashionetta contestant in the Miss out on Junior class, ages 11-13:

  • Pass up Aidyn Paige Warren, the daughter of Suzette and Lee Farr of Tyler.

Fashionetta contestant in the Skip Fashionetta group, ages 14-17:

  • Pass up Vonyelle Breonna De’Vold Burnley is the daughter of Sharon and Roderick Burnley. 

The host and presentation narrator will be news individuality Kayla Lyons.

Tickets to go to in individual or perspective the hybrid presentation are $30 and accessible by means of EventBrite. The party is constrained to just 100 guests.
