There are a lot of people nowadays that have not been properly taken care of by their parents while they are still young because they have not received the proper parenting and that made them become someone who would cause a lot of problems to our society. There are no problems in providing a lot of care and attention for your children but you should also make sure that you are able to do it properly so that it would not make them develop the tendency to depend on you on anything that they need. It is important that we should be able to show them that we care about them but we should not be overprotective of them as it may cause serious problems to their personality in the future. Parents would always want to provide the best for their children but we should know that smothering them could also bring serious consequences. Independence is something that we should be able to have our children get when they are growing up as it would be able to help them make some decisions on their own. Children that are given some independence would learn to make certain choices and be responsible in making them.

We would want the best for our children but we should know that putting a lot of pressure on them in having them do a lot of things would not be healthy for their mental state. It is important that we should be able to have our children know on how they would be able to grow up and decide for themselves that is why it is important that they should be able to get some independence. Even when giving your children some freedom, it is still important that we should be able to guide them properly on how to live a proper life and on how to make the proper decisions so that they would not fall off the tracks. Our parenting skills may be not that great at first but with the proper research and experience on how to take care of our children, we would surely be able to develop ourselves and would know how to provide the things that our children would need. Our children would surely be able to grow up into responsible people if we are able to have a proper parenting given to them while they are still young.
